Nick, I really appreciate the candor of this, and the rationale. It was fun, and always is fun, to read the takes of your colleagues as well. It is a hard election to vote for the LP, as likable as Chase is. While I've always resisted election fear-mongering, this time, I do see the threat of Donald Trump as beyond political ideology. Anyway, elections are boring. What I really want to discuss are your thoughts on the closing of 'Julia!' Thanks for that recommendation (to both you and KMW). Really enjoyed it, but still processing the end...
Oliver explains his platform in enough detail that it is very easy to know what you are voting for when you throw in with him. The same was true of the Libertarian candidate for governor in my state (MD)--a welcome trend in the opposite direction taken by the two dominant parties. And the focus on spending/the debt is a winner for me.
I have also decided that Chase Oliver deserves my vote. What Chase doesn't deserve is the current Libertarian Party which supports Trump, but I am not going to let the Maga Caucus Republicans LARPing as Libertarians stop my habitual voting pattern!
I refuse to vote out of fear that one major party candidate is worse than the other. Neither has earned my vote. Chase Oliver has and I will be voting for him.

Chase is my protest vote too. We need better options in this country!
